Fun Union Activities
PICNICS
The union picnics are usually held during summer and include delicious food with wonderful people present. Our members bring their families and participate in fun games/ activities. Our families are what drive us to be better, strive for more, and never give up. The picnics are a window into the lives of our members, and a great way to meet the families that inspire them to do great things.
HOLIDAY PARTIES
The yearly Holiday Party "Meeting" is one of our most anticipated events, from a Boat party to a Casino themed party, our party planning committee has no shortage of ideas, just another example of our members' creativity and originality. Members that never get to see each other during work, due to scattered work locations, get an opportunity to reconnect and reflect on the years' events.
CHARITY
Our members understand the importance of a strong community and our role in that community. Local 830 union members have participated in various charitable events, and look forward to continuing that tradition. Such events include a toy drive and canned food donation drive.
VOLUNTEER
Our members understand that we are incredibly fortunate to be a part of such a great organization, and that volunteering our time is one great way to aid and advance the collective union effort. Volunteering comes in many forms, whether it be for charity or another noble cause, we have a responsibility to our fellow citizens.
BOWLING
Another fun event our members get excited about, bowling brings out our members' competitive nature. Bowling nights are filled with laughter, excitement and competition. Yet another event that allows our members to socialize and get to know each other.
